Project: IHK München – Online Design System
Our role: We developed an online design system in collaboration with the marketing team to provide a cohesive foundation for our content management and development teams, ensuring consistency across all digital touchpoints. The system was designed to visually communicate the brand values of easiness, accessibility, and informativeness through a user-friendly, intuitive interface, guided by detailed documentation in an online style guide. Our accessibility strategy, based on the WCAG guidelines, ensures inclusive experiences for all users, which was successfully implemented across various online services to streamline interactions and promote brand alignment for future development.

Accessibility
Our guidelines and compliance strategy for ensuring accessibility are based on the international Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), providing equal access to digital content for all users. Through accessible design, keyboard-friendly navigation, sufficient color contrast, and meaningful alt text for images and links, we support users with various disabilities in engaging with our platforms. We ensure that our digital offerings fully adhere to the four principles of accessibility – Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust – guaranteeing an inclusive user experience both now and in the future.
